Taco Bell Removing some items from it's Menu Including "Mexican Pizza"

Taco Bell cut the mind of whole foodie lovers as it cut the items in its menu .

Mexican Pizza, a fan favorite at the chain, is among the cutting  items. The chain said that the packaging for the pizza accounted for more than 7 million pounds of paperboard annually in the U.S., so its departure will help Taco Bell inch closer to its sustainability goals.

Taco Bell has announced to say goodbye to pico de gallo, shredded chicken, and Mexican Pizza. That’s right, Mexican Pizza. There’s not a single damn thing that’s sacred anymore.

They also explained the replacement of these cravings as,  for the Mexican Pizza, which has been a pillar of the menu for years, Taco Bell says it’s being replaced with the return of the #8 combo: 3 Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme with a large drink. This is not an even trade.

Pico de gallo, which was primarily used on the healthy-ish Fresco menu, will be replaced by the fresh diced tomatoes already used on many of Taco Bell’s non-healthy-ish items.

Taco Bell is cutting even more items from its menu as it concludes a review of its products.

Other restaurant companies like McDonald’s are also rethinking their menus as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

McDonald’s and others temporarily trimmed back their menus, due to reduction in the staffs and the more priority to the drive thru as it resulted in faster service times and happier customers.

The menu changes will go into effect on Nov. 5.

Earlier this month, Taco Bell stopped serving items like the Nachos Supreme, Spicy Potato Soft Taco, Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, Spicy Tostada and the 7-Layer Burrito.
