“Mother Earth is angry,” Nancy Pelosi on California Fire; Record Fire now Burned morethan 3.1 Million Acres


The White House speaker Nancy Pelosi reacted to the ablazing California fire  as the angry from the Mother Earth on Thursday on MSNBC appearance.

More than 3.1 million acres have burned in California and at least 12 people have died as a result of the wildfires ravaging the state, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.

Pelosi said “Mother Earth is angry,” when discussing the wildfires in California. “She’s telling us, whether she’s telling us with hurricanes on the Gulf Coast, fires in the West, whatever it is … the climate crisis is real and has an impact,” Pelosi continued.

The fire have caused to the worse quality of the air ever, as the air has filled with thick smoke which creating breathe problems among the inhabitants. NASA  observed  Pyrocumulonimbus clouds over the California fires on the weekend, forming after dust, heat and smoke pumped into the atmosphere. The clouds appeared over the Creek Fire between Shaver Lake, Big Creek and Huntington Lake, California, which began on September 4. 

The fire is known to produced by the smoke-generating pyrotechnic device used during a gender reveal party Saturday morning, according to a California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection press release. The devices are sometimes used to release blue or pink smoke to announce the gender of an expected baby.

Fires have destroyed more than 3,900 structures. At least 14,000 firefighters are battling 29 major fires up and down the state. 

The August Complex Fire in Tehama County took the top spot in the state’s list of largest wildfires, clocking in at 471,185 acres. It is 24% contained.

There are currently other wildfires occurring across the West which Pelosi mentioned, including Washington, Oregon, and Montana.
