LASD Shooting- The Shooter Described as a Dark Skinned Large Man by one of Deputies; Search on Progress

The search for the suspect is ongoing after the fatal shooting of two Los Angel Sheriff's deputy officers. The deputies are alive and are recovering according to latest updates.14 homicide detectives are on scene. 

One of the deputies described the suspect as a dark skinned male of large in height.Video was from a fish eye lens which potentially distorts suspect’s height. 

A man deliberately shot 2 Los Angeles Sheriff's Department deputies who were in the police car, by making them critically injured in the head in an ambush at the Metro Station in Compton and they are fighting for their lives according to the officials.

The incident happened Saturday at the Metro Blue Line station at Willowbrook Avenue and Compton Boulevard around 7 p.m. The location is a short distance from the Compton sheriff's station.

Surveillance video shows suspect approach deputies who were sitting in the car, and deliberately opens fire through window. And he scooted soon. A man crossing the road can be seen in the scene while the suspect running away.

One deputy was described as a 31-year-old mother of a 6-year-old boy and the other deputy was a 24-year-old man.
