 US President Donald Trump's national security adviser Robert O'Brien Covid has confirmed. The White House has confirmed that O’Brien tested Covid positive.. He had been suffering from Covid symptoms for a few days. The same goes for Covid testing and disease confirmed. .

O’Brien “has mild symptoms and has been self-isolating and working from a secure location off site,” the White House said in a statement, confirming an earlier Bloomberg News report. “There is no risk of exposure to the president or the vice president.”

O’Brien, 54, the closest person to the president known to have contracted the disease, has been out of the office since late last week, according to a person familiar with the matter.

After Covid became positive, he was placed under special observation. O’Brienwill perform official duties under observation. White House sources said the situation was not conducive for the US president to go under surveillance. 

Covid had earlier confirmed to the president's press secretary. Four million Covid cases have been reported in the United States so far. Covid also conducts daily inspections of those who are in close contact with the President or Vice President.
