"The quack is measured in at 5.5 magnitude, at the very southern end of the 2019 Ridgecrest aftershock zone. This is a large late aftershock" tweeted by Lucy Jones, the Quack expert.

Ridgecrest is a town in California with a population more than 28,736. More than 80000 earthquakes have been recorded in Ridgecrest area until now. The area has a history of a sizable quacks , a shocking series of July 4 earthquakes that caused about  $5 Billion damage

n aftershock of this magnitude will have its own afteshocks," said USGS seismologist Susan Hough on Twitter. As is usual, there is a 1-in-20 chance a more powerful earthquake can strike in the next three days, she said.

"Wednesday’s quake is still considered an aftershock of last year’s quakes because the rate of seismic events per day is still way above the rate it was before the July quakes, "Ross said.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or major structural damage.
