7 more Pakistan Players have tested Covid Positive, Making a Total of 10
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Tuesday in a press release that, seven players Falabella Zaman, Imran Khan, Kashi Bhatti, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammed Hashim, Mohammed Rizwan and Wahab Riaz tested positive, taking a total infected cases to 10.
Haris Rauf, Haider Ali and Shafana Khan had feasted positive on Monday.
PCB chief executive, Wasim Khan said, “ the tour to England is very much on track and the side will depart as per schedule on 28 June.”
Pakistan are due to meet England tour June 28 in three Tests and three Twenty20s, beginning in August.
The PCB also confirmed that none of these players showed any symptoms prior to the Covid 19 test.
All those who have tested positive have been asked to remain in quarantine at their homes, while the remaining players and support staff members will undergo a second round of testing in Lahore on June 25.
Players who have tested positive will have to return two negative tests before they allowed to travel.
